For my reading minute I have chosen to read an article that is in the magazine, Time Your Body a User's Guide called AIDS: Intractable. The article I have chosen is about AIDS. Scientists had thought they had found a vaccine that could cure AIDS. The vaccine did NOT work and it failed, which left the scientists baffled. The scientists will still keep trying and make numerous attempts to find a cure for AIDS. I chose this article because it stood out to me, and I thought it would be interesting to read about a strategy that the scientists thought would help cure AIDS. Even though the vaccine failed, in my opinion, I think it's amazing the way they never give up and reading about the atemps they have made is eye-opening.
