In central Vietnam a flood has killed nineteen people. After heavy rains it has left many of the streets under three feet of water. There was a 48-year-old man who was swept away after he was feeding his buffalo and a nineteen-year-old man who was killed and he was on his way to husk rice. Out of the nineteen people that were killed four of them were children whose ages ranged between eight and twelve years old. The children were swept away from the currents on their way home from school. There has been a week of heavy rains. In the capital it has turned the streets into rivers and has caused major chaos. About once a year Vietnam gets heavy rains and tropical storms and last year it left 435 people dead and missing. I am glad that I have not had to experience a major flood like this. It must be pretty tough to lose your child or a family member by a flood.

Interesting post. One thing that is useful to do in posts is to include a link back to the original story. I have noticed you often do this but not all the time. I should also mention I am a librarian at the University so I always notice things like sources.
